Merry Christmas | LifeStyle

Merry Christmas everyone

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas

The one thing I love about christmas is that you can say "Merry Christmas" as many times as you want. It is just a saying that is so joyful. You only get one time a year to say it so you might as well take advantage of it. I mean you wouldn't say it on Halloween? But then maybe I would because I say the weirdest things.  I wanted to write another Christmas Post as the emojis are too cute

How did my Christmas Eve Go?
It didn't go as I thought it would be. Firstly when I finished my last post (24th December) I suddenly had the motivation to put the tree up.  Or maybe its the thought of my parents calling me lazy for not putting the tree up. So I did put the tree up with the lights being tangled and the decorations continuously falling off. I really was clumsy. I even dropped the decoration box and everything fell out  But I eventually got there. It was worth it as that bit of the house was empty. I still wish to have a real living Christmas tree in our house.

I also had to wrap the presents as everyone else was ever so busy and had no time as they were either: a) watching drama b)playing LoL c)sleeping or d)watching TV. So it ended up me doing it again   Since I wrapped the presents it turned out that I had to hand out them as some were for the people living in our street. Here I was being Santa Claus roaming the streets giving out presents.

 How did Christmas Turn Out?
Whether or not you believe me but I did play LoL. Not for the whole day though. Maybe just one or two hours.I think. Other than that my day consisted only of two things:eating and cleaning. I went to the restaurant which has the best lobster. It was so good  It was pretty strange though as usually people have a Christmas ham, turkey or something similar. But we had a Christmas lobster. I wonder what my parents were thinking. Last year I went to my aunty's house and we also had a lobster. I think my family has a thing for lobsters especially on Christmas Day. Oh well I cant complain as I can not deny that I love them so much. We had dinner so early too. (at around 5:30pm) And we finished around 7:30pm

We also had a big clean up at our house. We continuously cleaned until I couldn't clean anymore. I think that Christmas is basically a free day to do anything apart from shopping.  Since it is now Boxing day I shall roam the mall for sales. Boxing day for me is a day full of sales at stores however there is a meaning behind the day that I didn't know. I did a but of research as I have nothing else to do with my life. It says that Boxing Day is the day where many years ago it was where people gave presents to their servants and let their servants have one day free for a holiday as some had to work on Christmas Day. It let the servants to hang out and relax. Others say that it was where priest open charity boxes and gave away goods for the poor. The origin is still unknown.

I shall now end the post here and write another post sometime this week if not I wish everyone a Happy New Year. This also reminds me to get my New Years resolutions!
Bye guys and hopefully I shall write soon.

Christmas//End of Year Talk | Thoughts

Hello Everyone

Its that time of the year again where we conclude our year. I think that this year was one of the best as I made many new friends and enjoyed most (if not all) my classes. Since its December what most people think of is CHRISTMAS and the boxing day sales after it  Believe it or not I don't do anything unusual on Christmas Day. It is currently the 24th  (1 day to Christmas) and we still don't have our tree up and doubt we will. I cant believe its already . No one bothers to put the tree up unless I do.

I actually I no plans for Christmas which is kinda sad but yet good as it means that I don't need to dress up  I just tend to enjoy the food on Christmas and the mood/spirit everyone has. I love the food every year as its just so nice

The only Christmas Thing that I participated was gift giving and two Christmas parties (thanks to Niccola and Kanishka). Other than that nothing else. It was kinda awkward at first but after a while it was alright. I'm very awkward as usually I don't know who to talk to or what to do. I just usually follow and stand. I feel like a ghost at a party with people I am not close with.  Overall I did enjoy both the events and it was also my first time at their house. I hope to get invited again next year as it was really fun and really nice. It also gives me meaning to leave the house.  Something that I have to mention is that at Niccola and Kyle's house, they have a real pine tree for their Christmas tree. It is so cool and if you were there I would probably be standing and i will be about to smell it  I am strange. I really like the scent of pine now.

Other than that I have been playing LoL which has nothing to do with Christmas at all.  I wonder what tomorrow will be like. I am guessing alot of boredom. Maybe I shall eat cake.  I love the cakes that my parents make during Christmas. They are the best  If you ever go eating with me I mainly eat sweets than actually food. I just love sweets and cakes.

I wish it snows in New Zealand as I don't enjoy summer that much as winter than I use to.  I love wearing jackets and coats. Its so warm and comfortable. However I do love eating cold foods in summer than warm food in winter. The only snowy Christmas I ever experienced was when I went to Korea for a holiday during December/January period.
Oh well its time to go now.
I hope everyone has a good Christmas and hopefully I will put a post up in between Christmas and New Years.
