Studio Ghibli 1985-2014

Hii everyone
So recently I read this article which kinda made me feel down but yet shocked.
It made me feel like this:

I am just going to miss them so much.  If you know me I am really into Japanese animation and when I heard the news, it got me down. However it did got me to think of the positive towards them and thanking for how grateful that I was able to watch their productions.
I actually still remember the first time I actually got into Studio Chibli work by my cousin. She had three DVD's of theirs:Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and Totoro. I remember not wanting to go home but finish watching them all. I think I was around 11 or 12 at that time (?) After watching Spirited Away and starting of Howl's Moving Castle, I begged her to let me borrow them. I just had to watch them. I must seem so into it back them. I was begging my mum to let me sleepover too.
After that day I was soaked into Japanese anime and manga and still am. (Currently watch SAO II )
I am just amazed by it all.
I just like how this whole fantasy created by Studio Ghibli  is so fun. The characters and the whole world is different to ours. I mean look at creatures like Totoro or the castle of Howl's or the world in Spirited Away.
My favourite films by them will have to be the ones I once started them with: Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. I could watch them any time and would still enjoy it.
They are // 5

Kiki's Delivery Service | Howl's Moving Castle | Totoro
 Spirited Away.

When I was going through the Studio Ghibli tag I realise that the films were more meaningful than what it may seem. One that really stood out to me was:
“Any woman is just as capable of being a hero as any man.” ( — Hayao Miyazaki)
I now see that majority of the films have a female as the main character.

Overall I am glad that Studio Ghibli was here when I am around. It brings sadness that it really is closing down  I hope they surprise us with one more movie though.  They are simply the best.
Before I end today's post I would like it to end with this note by Hayao Miyazaki:

With much sadness, it was announced that Studio Ghibli will be -briefly pausing- its animation production department. [EDIT: The news is not final.] Their films have been some of my favorites, and their characters have inspired me since childhood. Here’s to them and the wonderful stories they have given us.

I find this a good quote as I believe that you should believe in yourself but recently I have been lacking this. I shall now try to believe in myself and counter this school horror.

Hope you enjoy your week while I continue with school ~

Bye~

Nothing New | Term 3 week 2

narutoloover:

Sword Art Online

Hello everyone

Nothing much has happened since I last blogged.I dont really know if that is a good thing or not. My past two weeks at school mainly consisted of results, homework and a test (which went horribly wrong).
So recently I have been feeling like this:

The weeks have gone by so far and there is only one more month till proper school exams and I haven't even started studying!
I just know I'm gonna start stressing soon. I re watched, 'The Girl who leapt through time,' again which was nice. I really enjoy the movie however I which it had ended differently.
I tend to enjoy these Japanese animated movies such as Spirited Away which I am sure most people would enjoy.

Recently my friend Daisy bought some flowers for her mum and I thought that they were so pretty. (especially because I like the colour pink)
Daisy and I had to protect it from the wind though. It was especially harder as we usually take the bus home and the bus was so crowded.
Recently in New Zealand a new chocolate came out and lets just say I love it heaps. I really like chocolate in general though. haha
I was very excited when this chocolate came out as I wondered what it would taste like and also it was the colour pink. I seem so girly.

Well that is all I have to say for today.
Goodnight
I hope your week is going well for you.

Week 2 | Holidays end (term 2 holidays)

Helllloooo image
Well my holidays became an end today.  I wish it could last longer image But I am keen to seeing people at school again which I guess is the best thing about school. image
I have so much homework left to do and I just wish I didnt need to do it at all image

I didnt do that much this week (no photos to show) but did go out more but didnt actually do anything.

On Wednesday I went over to a someone's house to see three people (Wilson,Taejin,Kaelin) do their ice challenge. The Ice challenge in New Zealand is trending and is "where participants are doused with a bucket of ice cold water." Luckily I dont need to do it image Wilson was tempted to nominate me but I would have died. image
Which really freaked me out. The sales for the ice company must be great this year as people are still buy lots of ice during the winter!

On Friday I went and visited my old intermediate school which was great and triggered some old memories.image Even though at that time I doubted the school, I am now glad that I went there.  I miss intermediate especially all the friends I made and those memories of table tennis and manhunt. I wish I could go back to being younger.image
The weather was also great which made everything the best if things especially since its winter.

That is mainly what I did in that week that I wanted to share.

OH I also tried Carl's Jr for the first time image I can say that I enjoyed my experience and go real fat image It was more fulling than I expected which was good. image I had a kids burger meal with the criss cross fries. I love fries. image

Now back to school and knowing my grades image

I also have my physics report to do and only done a few bullet points of it.image I really like this bunny sticker thing image
I have two random bunny gifs which are pretty cute on my laptop:

Me at school everyday image

Hehehe
Well better start my physics now! Byeeeimage
Hopefully I'll survive it and wont sleep too late. image
